A Shared History

Woodgate was launched in 2013 as an appointed representative and sister company of Chesterton House Financial Planning Ltd. Created in partnership with Moss Solicitors, the goal was always to provide expert, joined-up financial advice to clients of Moss and others across Loughborough, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, and Leicestershire.

Behind the scenes, the two firms have shared the same people, processes and systems from day one. The difference was always just in branding and client-facing teams.

In September 2024, Chesterton House acquired the shares previously held by Moss, with the vision of uniting the two businesses into one cohesive firm. This transition completes that journey.
