Support Our Foundation on Your Next Adventure!

An important part of our mission is to help our clients to have a great life, and the opportunity to travel is often an important element in their future plans. Sue and I are no different, and we count ourselves fortunate that the world is accessible in a way that it has never been before.

I have always preferred to be a ‘do-it-yourselfer’ when it comes to planning trips. I’ve enjoyed putting an itinerary together, researching interesting places to visit, planning routes and stopping points, making travel arrangements and looking for great hotels. So if you had asked me a few years ago whether I would be happy being part of an organised tour where everything is done for me, I’d have baulked at the idea.

Our Experience with Riviera Travel

Leaving Cologne by night

However, in the last couple of years we’ve done just that. It began with a weekend city break with Riviera Travel, and has progressed to enjoying our third European river cruise with them along the Rhine earlier this year.

It may be a sign of my advancing years, but Sue and I have thoroughly enjoyed being able to contact Riviera, book the desired trip, then sit back and let them do the work. We’ve had some great experiences travelling with them, with well organised itineraries, outstanding service, great food and modern spacious river cruise ships. If you are thinking of this type of holiday, I can certainly recommend them.

Support the Chesterton House Foundation Through Your Travels

There’s another reason to consider Riviera Travel too, and that’s because booking with them can give a very worthwhile financial boost to our very own Chesterton House Foundation. Riviera’s Affinity scheme means that the Foundation will receive 10% of the price paid for your holiday soon after your return. I know that several of our clients already use Riviera, but when I mentioned the scheme to them they were not aware of its existence, which means that there is potential income to the Foundation being lost.

How the Affinity Scheme Works

So how does it work? All that you need to do is to mention the Chesterton House Foundation at the time when you make your booking, and that’s it! When your trip is complete Riviera will notify the Foundation and send us the money. It’s that simple.

Booking Tips: Ensure Your Donation Reaches the Foundation

You can either call Riviera Travel on 01283 893773 to book and mention the scheme, or book online and ensure you contact them within 24 hours of making your booking either by emailing affinity@rivieratravel.co.uk or calling 01283 523 470 with your booking reference. If you’ve already booked your trip unfortunately the donation can’t be added later, so make sure you arrange it at the time of booking. Please note that the donation is not valid on bookings made through a travel agent or third-party booking site and is not valid for departures that are made exclusive to one publication.

There’s more information about Riviera’s Affinity Partnerships Scheme here: Riviera Affinity Partnerships Scheme. And if you’re interested to know more about holidays with Riviera Travel, here’s the link: Holidays with Riviera Travel

Not only will you have a great trip but you’ll be helping the work of the Foundation at the same time. For which you will have our gratitude.
