Highlights from Our Summer BBQ Bash

The weather was perfect, the food was delicious, the drinks were plentiful, and above all, the company was superb. Our recent barbecue was a true delight, and it seems everyone enjoyed the event as much as we did.

The evening was filled with conversations, laughter, happy music, and great food. A huge thank you goes to Sian and the team at The Manor House at Quorn for doing a marvellous job looking after everyone. Their hard work and attention to detail made the evening run seamlessly.

A special shoutout goes to Steve and the Fidgety Feet band, who brought smiles and got everyone’s toes tapping. Their lively tunes added a wonderful atmosphere to the night.

Thanks also to our team who helped everything run smoothly. With around 140 people attending, many lovely comments were received about the event, the venue, and our service. It was truly inspiring and served as a great reminder of our mission.

The Chesterton House Foundation raised over £1,500, which will go directly towards local causes. At their latest meeting, the trustees selected several organisations to support, including Leicestershire and Rutland ReMap, Starlight Youth Theatre, Chord Progression Music CIC, and MACS Charity. More details about each of these organisations will be shared in the next newsletter.

Thank you to everyone who came along to make it such a great evening. We’re looking forward to seeing you at the next one!
